time’s just a cheap scam made up to sell clocks
carve false-comfort ticks, that’s all that time does
blossom breaks through, flowing river cuts rocks
and nothing will be as ever it was
Henry D. Brown is a writer and third-year Religion major/Spanish minor at Carleton College, where he organizes with the Democratic Socialists of America.
